Conferentie 'Diversity in Quality of Life'

Ter gelegenheid van de eerste verjaardag van Disability Studies in Nederland, werd op 2,3 en 4 december 2010 i.s.m.

Prof. Dr. Douwe van Houten

Op maandag 21 juni 2010 overleed prof.dr. Douwe van Houten (geboren in 1947), hoogleraar sociaal beleid en organisatie aan de Universiteit voor Humanistiek. Hij was lid van de programmacommissie van DSiN.

Welcome to Reykjavík and welcome to the 11th biannual research conference of NNDR, the Nordic Network on Disability Research. This conference brings together researchers, policy makers, activists and practitioners to share scholarship and ideas, and provides a forum for Nordic and international collaboration in disability studies. NNDR is a multidisciplinary network of researchers. We welcome a wide range of contributions applying social, cultural, historical and philosophical perspectives to the study of disability.
